OMGICU is pop culture shot by and starring celebrities and fans with iPhones. You'll find live performances, movie premieres, celebrity sightings, fan interviews and more.
I was brought on as the Product Design Lead for OMGICU. Working closely with multiple development teams and OMGICU Founder Hugh Dornbush, We worked together from loose ideas and goals to launching an extensive platform including a major site redesign, two iPhone apps, and a series of client side tools to produce highly visual content on the fly. I lead the product team through discovery/research, ux, prototype, design, and to launch.
Key features include a full blown search suggestions and results experience, a new take on custom embedding a story widget, two iPhone apps (downloads below), Geared scrolling across the site, a new sticky footer concept, and more.
